Why I Chose This Path
Hardy’s Upholstery Ltd. was built on a simple belief: quality pieces deserve a second life.
Growing up with a strong appreciation for reducing, reusing, and repurposing, I learned that furniture, décor, and clothing often hold far more value than what meets the eye. Too often, beautiful, well-made pieces are replaced when they could be restored, reimagined, and enjoyed for many more years. I wanted to create a business that helped people see the potential in what they already have.
But for me, upholstery has never been just about recovering furniture. It’s about helping people create spaces that reflect who they are. Whether it’s selecting the perfect fabric, coordinating a piece with the rest of a room, or designing something completely unique, I love helping customers make choices that are both functional and beautiful.
My vision was to create a place where creativity, craftsmanship, and personal service come together. A place where customers can find expert guidance, regardless of their style or project size, and where talented, like-minded artisans can do meaningful work they take pride in.
Today, Hardy’s Upholstery Ltd. is more than an upholstery shop. We offer solutions for furniture, home décor, drapery, clothing alterations and repairs, custom sewing, and so much more.
